Sustainability
At March Cato we understand the fundamental importance of operating our business sustainably. We approach every project we undertake and every business decision we make from a viewpoint of sustainability, be it from a financial perspective, a social outcomes perspective or a reflection of its impact on the long-term environment.
Over the last 25+ years of operating, we have developed an enviable record in the attraction and development of local, inexperienced, but enthusiastic talent to our business. Through investment in on-the-job training, provision of a wide and varied range of complex projects and close mentoring with our experienced team, we have been able to develop new starters in highly skilled, engaged, and valued members of our business.
March Cato is a strong advocate for action to address man made climate change and are constantly looking for opportunities, no matter how small, to minimise the emissions from our activities and reduce our carbon footprint. Commitments to phase out the use of fossil fuels, source products from sustainable businesses and increase the efficiency of the operations we are involved in will all contribute to the overall goal.
These broader sustainable fundamentals are set against a backdrop of ensuring that our business and our people are holding themselves to the highest levels of integrity, which forms a fundamental part of our “license to operate” and to ensures we can continue to deliver our services to the region well into the future.
We approach this by working hard to develop and nurture our existing trusted working relationships with our clients and colleagues within the industry and to be recognised as an organisation who will work with you, in good faith to deliver the best, most efficient solutions for your specific project.
